Database Development

We can also provide support and advice on organising your data into relational databases which can be delivered either via traditional Microsoft Access front end or via a web site.  We have experience of using Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server and mySQL in a variety of ways across a variety of sectors and integration of databases into various Microsoft Office products.

For example, support staff undertake data entry tasks using Microsoft InfoPath.  A manager can view various metrics about the forms using Microsoft Office Access and can view charts and reports created via Microsoft Office Excel.  All of this functionality can be combined into a single system which moves seamlessly between the applications or can be embedded within a single web based application.

We have experience of developing everything from small standalone databases to support a single research study up to data warehouses using an underlying abstract data model to provide flexible data storage, thereby removing the need to upgrade and amend your database with changes to the front end data collection forms.
